Simple Pumpkin Seed Mylk

Cute green little pumpkin seeds! Good for so many things, including:

  • a healthy dose of iron

  • rebalancing hormones

  • plant-based protein

  • muscle relaxing nutrients

These little gems are great tossed on a salad, eaten raw, even toasted and salted. But they can do so much more than that! Including, be made into a mylk (that’s plant-based spelling for milk). It takes just 5 minutes (that’s nothing!) and if you’re preparing a smoothie, halve the recipe and toss all ingredients in with the rest of the smoothie ingredients for a creamy finish and an even shorter trip to the kitchen!

Enjoy xo

RECIPE: Simple Pumpkin Seed Mylk

Servings: 2
Time: 5 minutes
Taste: Silky & Smooth
Action: Blood sugar balancing & Satiating

1/4C raw pumpkin seeds
2C filtered water
1/2t pure vanilla extract
1 pinch Himalayan pink sea salt

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender until smooth (approximately 30-45 seconds).

  2. For a silkier mylk, one you’d drink straight or add to #’s 3 & 4 below, strain it through a fine sieve. Otherwise, it’s good to go as-is for #’s 1 & 2 below.

What To Make With This Mylk

  1. Use it as the base for your smoothies.

  2. Use it as the base for your hot elixir beverages.

  3. Add it to a nice herbal tea.

  4. Add it to your coffee.

  5. Drink it all by itself - it’s great warm or cold!
