Green Monster Smoothie

Hungry for lunch, but no time to spare? Try whipping up this gigantic smoothie in place of a meal when you're on the run. You can drink it all at once, or split it up over two meals. It's that filling. The best part - you don't have to go all the way to Boston to get one!

This recipe is perfect for a busy schedule and a busy mind:

  • coconut water will rehydrate your cells and keep you energized

  • avocado will satiate you, give you energy and jack up your brain power

  • spinach & maca will support you through stressful times

  • cinnamon will help regulate your blood sugar and keep you fuller for longer

  • flax will aid in moving your waste nicely through your body and out the other end, basically help you poop!

RECIPE: Green Monster Smoothie

Servings: 1 (as a meal)
Time: 5 minutes
Taste: Smooth & Nutty
Action: Brain Boosting & Hydrating


1.5C coconut water
1T flax seeds
1 kiwi, peeled
1/2 avocado, pitted and peeled
1/4 large green apple
1/4 medium English cucumber
1C spinach
1T pumpkin seeds or hemp seeds
1T Brain Octane Oil (or other plant-based or fish oil)
1T (heaping) cashew or almond butter
1t maca root powder
1/4t cinnamon


1. In the order listed above, place all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend on high for 1 minute, or use the blender's smoothie setting.
2. Pour into two cups, drink immediately and enjoy!
